This portion of the Gardenscapes walk will supply you with a play-by-play of a normal level. That is a walkthrough of the Drawing Space level: the first level from the video game.
The Jumble Sale is beginning a little slowly, with just 1 customer. He’s looking for your own Teddy Bear: you can locate it on the snowy chair to your left. Finding it will result in you selling the bear to the customer, who’ll leave some cash on the counter. Click on it, and abruptly five customers will appear! News travels fast, so you are going to have to work quicker.
One of your clients is requesting a Yacht. Where she thinks you would be able to fit an entire houseboat from the drawing room is a complete mystery, but if you grab the model boat resting at the potted plant into the right of the fireplace, she will take it and leave you some money. Gather her cash, and another customer will arrive.
Then check the stool near the foreground, toward the center of the bottom of the screen. Draped on that stool is a Shawl which one of your clients would love to buy. Take care of this for them, then make sure you grab the House Plant placed by the table to the right of the snowy easy chair on the ideal side of the screen. Give that to another customer and you will now have two small piles of cash to accumulate, which will open up space for two more clients once you’ve collected them.
Close to the area where you found the home Plant is a Music Stand: it may be difficult for you to see at first because it’s so wiry, but it’s definitely there and a customer will definitely cover it. Completing that sale will result in cash, but no more extra clients because there are just ten to get this level.
With four clients left, this is a fantastic opportunity to wrap up the level quickly to get a beefy time bonus. The Doll that little girl is looking for can be seen resting on the ideal side of the mantel, over the fireplace.
Home stretch. Gather the cash left over the counter from the last two clients, then grab the Violin that’s hanging on the wall into the left and sell it to a customer. This last one is tricky, since the painting the customer wants is partially obscured by your interface. But, it’s still possible to see it poking out from the corner, near the top-left. Grab it, sell it, and gather the last few piles of cash to end this level using a fat pile of cash and time to spare!
Outside these walls, nobody knows of your his or her amazing accomplishments in the field of botany. Outside these walls, people pass and tut-tut in shame in the unhappy state of the once beautiful mansion. A number of the older townsfolk remember when the garden was lush and lively, with visitors coming from all over. If you’re polite, one of them can sit back and tell you about it, but nobody stops to smell the roses .

Gameplay is divided into two chief segments: Jumble Sale and Tending the Garden. Jumble Sale is a hidden-object video game where the goal is to locate items in a pile of things to sell in a rummage sale. The better you do at a round of Jumble Sale, the more money you will receive in the end.
This cash is then used at the other half of the video game, Tending the Garden. When tending the garden, the cash you’ve earned from Jumble Sale goes into buying things and making repairs to your garden. This component of the video game is more free-form, with a lot of room for customization. The relaxed, Zen-like atmosphere of the garden mixed with the intense Jumble Sale provides Gardenscapes a balance of challenge and substance, with the result being fun!
The clutter purchase is necessary to acquire the funds needed to start building of New Eden. Thankfully, since everything in the mansion today belongs to you, this surplus junk can be turned into capital. To be able to ease this, you have to visit each room and discover objects hidden in a massive pile to locate something special to get a customer.
A normal round of Jumble Sale will start whenever someone asks for a single small item, such as a teddy bear. Your goal is then to attempt to locate the object in one of the many junk piles in every single room. Successfully obtaining the desired object in a reasonable period of time will finish the trade, and your reward will be cash plus a cleaner living space!
Tips and Tricks for Jumble Sale
~ If you’re stuck and can’t locate the thing a customer is looking for, press the hint button at the bottom-right corner of the screen. This will show the thing you’re looking for, but you should be mindful: you only have a limited number of hints per level.
~ If you’re still stuck and have run out of hints, a fantastic plan is to start clicking wildly all over the monitor. There are no negative consequences for clicking the incorrect objects, so the quickest and most efficient way to play Jumble Sale is to rapidly click your mouse when moving the cursor around the screen, pausing occasionally to collect the cash left on the side.
~ Another thing to keep in mind if you run out of strikes is that you will find extra hints hidden in some levels. Keep your eyes peeled to get a question mark symbol somewhere in each room and you can return a number of those invaluable hints, which can also be flipped into incentive cash if you don’t use them at a round.
~ Do not forget to look at the side of the screen occasionally. This is where you are going to see what items customers are looking for and how much they are prepared to pay. When you’ve found an object, the customer will leave the money on the sidebar as well.
~ Be sure to grab cash left by a customer as soon as possible: the more quickly you collect cash from your sidebar, the sooner another customer can take their place. Maintaining a steady stream of clients is paramount to earning money and getting rid of all of the clutter.
~ The more you take to help a customer find the thing they’re looking for, the more assured they will become. Every customer has three hearts next to their portrait, and these hearts will disappear if you take longer than they prefer to aid them. The color of their portion of the video game screen will change in color from green to yellow and finally into red, and a few clients may just walk away if they don’t receive help after that point.
~ If you’re playing on Timed Mode, assisting all the clients fast will earn you more cash when you have a lot of time left over. Playing on Relaxed difficulty will prevent you from getting that stressful time constraint, however, the tradeoff is you’ll miss out on the excess cash bonus if you finish the round quicker.
Tending the Garden
Tending the garden is your reward for your hard job selling all that junk to strangers. With the cash you’ve earned after completing a level, head outside to the garden and you will discover yourself faced with many options. You will find a variety of improvements and repairs to be made, and many different ways you can approach them.
Use the cash you’ve earned to buy items from the pub in the bottom of the screen. As soon as you’ve selected a category, pick the component of the garden you wish to place the object. Now, you will have a couple alternatives to choose from.
Tips and Tricks for Tending the Garden
~ While you do start off the video game with a decent choice of items to choose from with a good level of selection, you should play with a couple more degrees before making any tough choices. Completing amounts will unlock more options to decorate your garden, in addition to giving you more cash to buy them with!
~ Do not be concerned if you discover something you like but have a similar thing in your own garden! You always have the option to swap out the appearance and type of object in each part of the garden, so don’t hesitate to keep things fresh by mixing it up a bit. Variety is the spice of life, after all.
~ Austin does not have much to do but walk around the garden and talk to himself. You can cheer him up a little by clicking him if he walks around: he’ll tell you it’s bothersome, but you can tell he appreciates the attention.
~ If you’re feeling especially proud of your garden, there is an option in-game to convert it into a screensaver on your PC. Now, every time you head to wake up your computer it is possible to see just a tiny glimpse of paradise.
Gardenscapes takes place entirely in your grandfather’s mansion, together with the garden in the front yard. This may sound boring, but there is actually plenty of selection in the mansion, with many different rooms full of things you can promote to rubes to cover fertilizer. Here are some of the rooms you’ll encounter in Gardenscapes:
Drawing Room: After a lavishly decorated and supremely comfortable lounge area for guests to sit down by the fire, this chamber is totally full of clutter. Picking up all of the food and silverware is only part of the issue: there are also clocks and small bits of machines everywhere for a certain reason. Perhaps Grampa fancied himself a small tinkerer in his late life, however, one thing’s for sure: he can’t do any tinkering today. Sell everything!
Garage: This garage homes Grampa’s once beastly Ford Automobile. As soon as it’s gathering dust today, there was a time when it saw plenty of action in numerous street races. Now, somebody’s jammed a pair of scissors into the grill and used the hood to flaunt their collection of musical instruments.
Office: When it was at its most impressive, the mansion required quite a little upkeep. The office was a place where Grampa could keep track of all of the goings-on and plan out his garden, but since his later years and eventual passing it’s become covered in dust and mess. Clearing all of the children’s toys, noisemakers, cooking utensils and food will be arduous, but the consequent cash flow will make it worthwhile.
Toilet: Not any mere bath, the mansion’s toilet features an elegant marble tub with lovely golden knobs. Today, someone has filled the tub with dishes, and you will find newspapers and small electronics everywhere. Putting aside the fact that you need the funds from selling these things to pay for the building of your garden, this toilet desperately needs to be cleaned only for safety reasons.
These intricately hand-painted figures were the apple of his attention towards the end of his life, but you’re in charge. What might have been an impressive collection in his lifetime is currently a collection of creepy little girl toys that stare unblinking at passersby, so it’s time to sell the lot!
Garden: This is exactly what makes everything worthwhile. The garden planted at the front entrance way of the mansion has many paths with which guests can wander to enjoy the gorgeous plants and flowers contained within, with a gorgeous water fountains in the center. But, deteriorating health and decline in value of estate has caused the garden to collapse into severe disrepair, which means the fountain does not work as well as the trails are overgrown with weeds.
